essexdance
essexdance is the regional dance development agency for Essex, based in Chelmsford, England. essexdance's mission is to act as a focus for innovation and excellence for dance development in the County and beyond. It works in professional and educational/community contexts to deliver a strategic range of dance events: from commissions, festivals and tours to professional training events, educational and community projects and publications.
The essexdance Associate Artist scheme is a flexible artist development programme designed to enable dance artists to push forward their work with emerging technologies. This comprehensive support scheme will enable dance artists to take risks, explore collaboration, and develop innovative product. The scheme is designed to nurture a deep and long-lasting partnership between essexdance and up to seven dance artists.
